Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN)
The Asexual Visibility and Education Network hosts the world’s largest online asexual community as well as a large archive of resources on asexuality. AVEN strives to create open, honest discussion about asexuality among sexual and asexual people alike. Unlike celibacy, which is a choice, asexuality is a sexual orientation. Asexual people have the same emotional needs as everybody else and are just as capable of forming intimate relationships

Asian Pacific Islander Queer Sisters (APIQSDC) is an organization for queer API sisters in the Washington DC metropolitan area, focusing on education, community, and sisterhood. Black Pride
DC Black Pride. The mission of Black Lesbian and Gay Pride Day, Inc. (BLGPD) is to build awareness of and pride in the diversity of the Black lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community as well as to support organizations that are addressing HIV/AIDS and other health issues adversely affecting our community. Proceeds from DC Black Pride events are distrivuted to HIV/AIDS and other health service organizations serving the African American community in the Washington, DC area.
